NYC Life: Ride to New Jersey

Ap­par­ently most NYC cyc­lists do one of two rides reg­u­larly: the Cent­ral Park loop or cross the George Wash­ing­ton Bridge and then head north on 9W in Jer­sey.

De­cided to ex­plore that second op­tion to see how it works.

Turns out that on a week­day morn­ing, it’s not such a great idea. Traffic was pretty rough. But I found a few great views.

(But… sigh: not look­ing great for find­ing a vari­ety of en­joy­able cyc­ling routes ori­gin­at­ing from Man­hat­tan.)
